Vice President's Corner | April 2026

Hello Everyone, 

With club elections coming up and the new Executive Board and Board of Directorsto be voted in at the March General Membership meeting, everyone is eager to jumpin and get started for the upcoming year.

Exciting changes and improvements are in store for OCSC. Club Manager Paul Biediger has been updating the restaurant menu and creating events for members. Keep an eye out via the club calendar for those events.

The recent return of BandNight was an overwhelming success. Special thanks to both Kim’s in the bar fordoing an outstanding job taking care of customers.

From a facilities perspective, I have been putting together a list of maintenanceitems that need attention after a very harsh winter. I will report back to all of you inthe coming months with an action plan for completing this work.

Activities for archery and competitive shooting sports are already in full swing for 2026. If you have been waiting to participate in one of these activities, now is thetime to get involved. Check the club calendar for a list of events.

OCSC’s Shotgun Club is sponsoring a pheasant hunt on Sunday, March 29, at 8:00a.m. The event is open to all members and will be held at Walkiewicz Pheasant Farm, 6115 Chapin Road, Deford, MI.
