Using the 100 Yard Outdoor Range
The range is open for use, 10AM to Dusk, seven days a week.
A few rules to consider:
- Multiple loading of magazines is permitted
- 1 second between shot
- Handguns are allowed (with targets placed at the impact berm of 100 yds).
- Due to the covered and baffled positions, shooting can be done from sitting, kneeling, or standing in all 15 lanes.
- Prone position shooting must be done on lanes 13, 14, and 15 as those lanes have a 3rd baffle system.
- The range to the right of the 100-yard covered range is an events-based only range with a current maximum distance of 50 yds and is closed for general use unless an event is scheduled through Dr. Wilson. Events on this range will require a certified Range Officer or Instructor to be present.
