Looking outside today, with temperatures in the 20s and light snow on the ground, spring cannot get here fast enough. While this winter has made shooting challenging with snow, wind, and the cold, summer is around the corner.

In preparation for summer, the Shotgun club and ranges are moving to summer hours starting April 1st (no, that is not a fool’s day joke). Starting April 1st, the SG club is open TUESDAY and WEDNESDAY from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM and SATURDAY and SUNDAY from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

Also, for all the shooters waiting for trailer trap, it will also be opening (weather permitting) for the summer.

On Saturday, April 25th, the SG club is hosting the annual Shotgun
Banquet. This is the annual fundraiser for the shotgun club. There will be great food, door prizes, and raffles. Dinner tickets are available for $40. Please contact Ron Bereznicki (248-561-1966) or the SG club to purchase tickets.

Come out and give shotgun shooting a try! We offer trap, wobble trap, skeet (steel shot only), 7-yard & 12-yard upland angles, 5-stand, and flurry. Just remember shotgun shooting is way less stressful than golf. So, ditch the golf clubs this summer and come on out with your shotgun.
