WHRRI News | May 2026

The race season starts with activities on the track 3 out of 4 weekends between the end of April and the beginning of May.

After a few weeks off, we race Memorial weekend, and then many of us racers volunteer at the Detroit Grand Prix the following weekend.

The next WHRRI general membership meeting is May 6th. That should give everyone plenty of time to prepare bench racing discussions to have at the meeting.

Thank you to everyone who has participated in the work bees to get the track in prime condition for the season. The upgraded barriers are a lot of work but are looking good.

To all WHRRI members:
Please come out to the club (WHRRI General Membership Meeting 1st Wednesday of each month at the clubhouse; except December), use the range, volunteer, grab some food, or do all three. Remember that your OCSC membership is for more than just racing — make the most of it when you renew each year.
