The early Goose season is ongoing, and recently the youth deer hunt took place.
The political rhetoric is heating up, and the fishing is pretty good.
Lake Michigan’s Salmon fishing has truly come back and lots of big healthy fish have been harvested this summer. Thanks and applause to the DNR Fisheries Division for revitalizing this sport.
Keep up the good work.
The other fishing reports are also improving. However, cooler water temperatures are moving the fish shallower, which makes them more accessible and easier to find.
By the time you read this, the September fishing club event on Saginaw Bay will have happened.
I’ll give a report out in next month’s magazine.
Everyone Stay safe as we get into our fall fishing and hunting activities.

The Archery Lot is currently undergoing paving. We want to emphasize that you should NOT move any cones, the gate, or attempt to drive into the lot until at least next Monday. These interruptions delay the progress of this project. Kindly use the main club parking lot while this project is underway.
Thank you for your patience and understanding.
