Fishing Club News
Congratulations to the Fishing Club for donating the most aluminum to this year’s Sub Club charity Challenge! (We did get a lot of help from some general club members who dropped off donations at the office).
Overall, OCSC collected over 800 lbs of scrap aluminum. The proceeds will go to the charity chosen by the fishing club. Great job everyone and thanks for making this year’s event successful.
The Ladies Adventure Day was a hit. The weather and fish cooperated and all the ladies enjoyed their short time on the water.
Every time there is a project or activity that requires help, the same people and group of volunteers show up and help out every time. I can’t thank them enough for all they do!
The only issue is that a lot of us are getting older and some of our projects need folks with good backs and bit more stamina.So here’s a plea to the younger members. Come on out and pitch in! We can really use the help and you’ll probably end up having a great time!
