We had a good outing in September on Saginaw Bay. The 1st day there were 5 boats and 14 fisher folks. The Perch and Walleye action was spotty for most of us. But Ryan Ferdon figured it out and harvested 14 Walleye. So the 2nd day, the remaining 3 boats caught 46 Walleye. Using Ryan’s method and location. It can really pay off when people work together and share information. Thank you Ryan for helping to make it a successful outing. And thank you to everyone else who participated and helped out. Especially the Boat Captains who took others out fishing.
Supposedly the Fall Perch and Walleye bite is in full swing on Lakes Erie and St Clair. Several people are posting some good catches on Saginaw Bay also. I haven’t heard any reports from the local inland Lakes.
Here’s wishing everyone a wonderful Thanksgiving. Hoping you all had a safe and successful hunting season. Now let’s go catch some fish.
