I hope that by the time you read this, we have worked around the roadblock that has delayed us wuth the 100-yard range repair. We need to improve the ranges in such a way that no projectile can escape out of the range.
The wall that we build between the 50 and 100-yard ranges was the first step. We had an NRA advisor out to discuss our plans, and when she saw the wall, she said was the “best all she had ever seen” and conformed to NRA standsards. We will continue when funds have been approved.
Keep Your eyes open for posting on when we will finish the 100-yard range. We will need volunteers like before and we can finish this project. It is really a really gratifying project to work on.
At this point, we are still unsure what is happening with the dinosaur forest, but we will keep everyone posted. I am looking for members who want to string trim around the club. Member Greg Moore was doing an excellent job, but has moved out of the area. Please contact me for 2nd VP Shawn Shilling if you can give us a hand.
