The D R Wilson Precision Pistol(Bullseye) Team
The D R Wilson Precision Pistol(Bullseye) Team, again, sweeps the 2024-25 SEMPA awards, taking 8 out of 14 trophies and 10 personal awards. SEMPA (Southeastern Michigan Pistol Assoc.), is the oldest pistol league in the United States. Today, it is comprised of 7 teams and 90 active pistol shooters. The indoor league is an 8 month postal competition, comprised of 15 rimfire matches and 10 centerfire matches, shot from September to May, each year. An Awards Banquet is held in May to recognize those teams and shooters who have achieved top honors in several categories. Since 2019, D R Wilson has managed to dominate the other 6 teams in an extraordinary manner, winning multiple trophies and awards each year.

The league shoots every Tuesday night from September to May, 5 PM to 9 PM. New shooters are welcome.
Sad News– In 2024 the Team lost shooter Phil Beauvais, age 77. Ed Kretsch, age 83, also lost his health battle. Ed was the long-time captain & spokesperson for the team. Finally, In March, we lost our close friend & mentor to the Bullseye discipline, Jim Churchwell. All are sorely missed.
