Welcome and Recent Activities
As I begin my sixth month as club manager, I wanted to share some updates about what’s been happening at OCSC.
The Bar has been increasingly active, especially with the addition of Euchre nights every Thursday from 6:00 to 8:30 PM.
Kim1 and Kim2 have contributed tremendously, starting with Trunk or Treat and continuing with Cookies with Santa. They decorated the main clubhouse and bar for a festive Christmas season, creating a welcoming atmosphere for all.
St. Patrick’s Day was a great success with our members, and most recently, the Easter Bunny made an appearance, allowing children to take pictures and participate in an egg hunt.
Whiskey Business hosted a sold-out show in the main hall, and you can expect more performances from them inthe future.
Upcoming Events
Our next major outdoor event will be Magic Bus on the racetrack, scheduled for June 13th. Tickets are available at the bar: $15 for one, $25 for two, or $20 each on the day of the event. There will be food trucks, and the Kims will be serving drinks.
Food and Menu Updates
Ben and Clara have been working hard to create new dishes and specials for our menu. We now offer pizzas on Thursdays! Thanks to Ladies Adventure Day, we have a smoker that will be put to good use, so keep an eye out for upcoming smoked specials.
Club Swap Meet
We will be hosting a club-wide swap meet on June 20th from 12:00 to 4:00 PM in the main club building. Vendor tables are $25 each, and there is a $5 entry fee per person. Please contact me in the office if you would like to sign up.
